# Audit Trail Display

## Audit Trail

Once you have an**Audit Trail** instance set up and running you can use the **Audit Trail Display** to retrieve and visualize the audit trail records of the node.

The **Audit Trail Display** can be opened from **System-->Diagnostics** and selecting **Audit trail** in the **Explorer** panel.

Users can export everything that is being displayed in the **Audit Trail**panel to a CSV file by clicking on the button located on the right-hand side of the panel header.

## **Configuration**

The interface offers a number of configuration options that allow filtering and customizing the way the records will be displayed. By clicking on the **Preview** button located at the bottom of the **Configuration** panel, the display will populate with all the information stored in the audit log based on the selected configuration settings.

Users can also generate and download a pdf file, by hitting the **Get report** button, which will pop up some configuration options as shown in the image below.
