# Introduction

Aurora is a proprietary protocol originally developed by the company Power-One to control, manage, and monitor their power devices such as inverters and junction boxes. The communication protocol uses fixed-length transmission messages.

**N3uron's** **Aurora client** module allows users to quickly and easily connect **N3uron** to any **Aurora** compatible device via TCP and serial connections.

Note:

The automatic browser function for detecting devices connected to the bus is not supported.
