# Initial Setup

Setting up **CAISO ADS PowerBridge** on your N3uron node is straightforward. Follow these steps for a seamless configuration.

## **Prerequisites**

- **N3uron Installed:** Install N3uron on your chosen operating system or deployment scenario (Windows, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, etc). Refer to the [N3uron Installation Guide](/v122/docs/platform-installation-and-upgrade) for detailed instructions.
- **CAISO ADS PowerBridge Project Backup:** If you don’t have it yet, [Download the CAISO ADS PowerBridge Project Here](https://n3uron.com/iiot-platform-modules/caiso-ads/) or contact us at [**support@n3uron.com**](mailto:support@n3uron.com).
- **Credentials:** have your **CAISO ADS certificate** and the plant **Resource ID**ready (both provided by CAISO).

## **Step 1: Install N3uron**

If not installed yet, set up N3uron on your preferred operating system or deployment scenario by following the [N3uron Installation Guide](/v122/docs/platform-installation-and-upgrade).

## **Step 2: Import the CAISO ADS PowerBridge Project Backup**

1. Log in to the [N3uron WebUI](/v122/docs/platform-web-user-interface) using the default credentials (**admin/n3uron)**.
2. Go to the [Backup Management](/v122/docs/platform-backup-and-restore) section.
3. Select and import the **CAISO ADS PowerBridge backup file**.
4. Once imported, load the **CAISO ADS PowerBridge backup** to initialize the node.

> **Note:**
> 
> For security reasons, it is strongly recommended to **change the default password** after logging in. [Visit the Users and Roles Configuration](/v122/docs/platform-security-users-and-roles) section for detailed instructions on updating user credentials and assigning appropriate roles.
