Introduction

Linked Tags allows users to link the values of two different tags using N3uron. This allows users to link the values of two tags regardless of their origin, including tags collected from remote nodes. When two tags are connected, the value of the source tag is copied to the value of the output tag.

A typical scenario in which Linked Tags are used in industry is when connecting two tags from different OPC servers, although they can also be used to connect two tags in N3uron from any different non-interoperable communication protocol. This, for example, allows users to connect the value of any tag originating from a Modbus TCP server to a tag in a Siemens PLC.
