Introduction

The Solarmax Client module allows connecting N3uron to SOLARMAX devices such as inverters, power meters and weather stations, as long as they support the MaxComm protocol via serial or TCP connections.

The Maxcomm protocol is based on the master-slave principle, the SolarMax devices do not send data spontaneously but only respond to queries from the master devices, and only one device can be polled each time. If the receiving device does not support the data type, it shall return a message with the missing key or the key without the value. The data that can be retrieved and the configuration that can be set depends on the type of device.
